Trippin’ on the Road: Day 1

Do not mistake the title of this post for a drug reference–it’s merely (and barely) a joke.

Chelsea & I moved away from our mother-geese and papa-bears to a land of books, knowledge, adventure, and the unknown: Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, in rural-ish, swanky-ish South Hamilton, Massachusetts.  We thought that there was no better time to begin the chronicle of the rest of our lives than now: when we are faraway from our family & hometown friends.

But before we arrived at our new home…we road-tripped.  Here’s a recap of the first day:

This is me driving.

This is me driving.

This is Chelsea driving.

This is Chelsea driving.

This is Chad while Chelsea is driving.

This is me while Chelsea is driving.

I’m not sorry that there aren’t pictures of the “scenery” because we drove through topographically-challenged Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio.  I am sorry, however, that we didn’t snap a picture with Mr. & Mrs. Oberkircher (and their little dog, too)! We’re very grateful for their hospitality and for letting us stay the night.

grace & peace,
Chad

Chelsea was too embarrassed of this photo for me to post it. I'm not. lol
